Dear Juno or any other teens in similar situation.
Hi my name is Hae Youn Kim and I go to Foothill Technology High School. Personally, I think you were able to handle the situation very maturely even though ironically you were reckless enough to have unprotected sex. Not many would have done the same thing that you did. There’s thousands of stories of teen pregnancy but out of all of their stories, I think you’re so much better off because not many parents would have supported the teens choice of getting pregnant or not. You’re parents loves you even though you were pregnant. Not many people can say the same. I can’t say that I would have made the same choice as you did because I simply wouldn’t know depending on the situation. I can’t say that I could understand you because I’ve never ever been in that kind of situation before and hopefully get pregnant when I’m married to someone that I love. Honestly, I thought that you would raise the kid yourself like most teen does. It’s understandable that you’re not ready to be a mother but since that guy Bleeker seems to have mutual feelings about you so I thought that you guys might’ve raised it together? But either way it turned out okay. But I’m curious as to how you felt when you walked out of the abortion place. Were you sad, guilty, anxious etc? Also what happened with the couples after that? Did things work out with the couples or are they like divorced? Do you ever visit or see your kid? I just have many questions.
Last one. Did your stance on abortion change at all after the pregnancy? Well thank you for your time for reading my letter.

Sincerely,
Hae Youn Kim
